legal careers

Jeffrey Rehmeyer is the President of CGA Law Firm where he concentrates his legal practice to counseling businesses, municipalities, schools and individuals. He forms strategic alliances with his clients by developing intimate understanding of their goals and needs. His broad expertise, coupled with the additional resources and knowledge of CGA, are a powerful combination, providing clients with all the legal experience they need from one firm.

Jeff regularly advises public officials on many of the complicated issues facing them today including, open meetings laws (the Sunshine Act), right to know law, conflicts of interest, eminent domain, parliamentary procedures, redevelopment and land use.

He also represents buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and developers of real property in all types of real estate transactions, including negotiating, structuring and documenting the purchase, sale, leasing, land use and development of property.

Jeff is adept in combining his knowledge of these niche areas of law, economics and business to his clients' advantage. He understands the "ins and outs" of dealing with local governmental and quasi-governmental entities. Jeff also works well with financial institutions, understanding the legal issues involved with loan documentation.  He is a skilled negotiator and able to communicate effectively. And he is often called upon to use such skills in combination to benefit his clients' interests and further their goals.
